An MFA stands for Master’s of Fine Arts. In many circles, this is a terminal degree (meaning you don’t go on for a PhD or other degree program) and allows the student to a) write, or b) teach writing at the college level while writing. This page will be a list of links (very soon) of both low-residency and full-residency writing programs across the United States.
